This is a gorgeous beauty shot of actress Ashley Greene at the “2012 People’s Choice Awards.” Her makeup was absolutely flawless, courtesy of Vanessa Scali. It was a classic look that transformed the beautiful “Twilight” star into a stunning swan.

The hair was also perfection, her glossy locks were styled in soft cascading curls. We can see the high neckline of her leather-and-lace Donna Karan dress which elongated her neck. Everything came together for a graceful and incredibly polished look.

Yves Saint Laurent launched its Christmas 2011 makeup collection just in time for the holiday season. The beauty line is complete with eyeshadows, lipsticks, lip glosses and nail colors. Think smoky eyes, shimmering lips and black polishes. They go perfectly with YSL’s classic tuxedo; they’re essentially evening wear for your face and hands. It’s just a stylish reminder that fashion never takes a holiday.

Selena Gomez wore a glamorous hair style at the 2011 American Music Awards. The actress went for touchably soft voluminous curls, artfully arranged on her shoulders. She had a side part with a portion of her tresses placed behind her hair. Her makeup was pretty in a neutral palette and was finished-off with a subdued coral lip color.

Kristen Stewart had her hair styled by Fekkai celebrity stylist Adir Abergel for the “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” premiere in Los Angeles. Her look was both romantic and edgy. It was in a sophisticated updo, soft in front and braided in back. The contrast of the smooth mixed with the texture portions made it youthful and fresh. This hair style perfectly complemented the pattern in her dress for the event. Her look captured the essence of a young and successful Hollywood actress with a bit of an edge.

Gareth Pugh for MAC makeup is where high fashion meets beauty. The designer has collaborated with the cosmetic force to bring you a collection he describes as “strong and mysterious,’ as well as “fragile and ethereal.” This line includes shadows, lip gloss, powders and fake lashes. You won’t have too long to wait because it will be in stores November 23.

Elizabeth Hurley attended Estee Lauder’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month event in a hot pink Michael Kors. Her sleeveless dress was fitted with an empire waist, and the low-cut neckline was flattering on her. It also went perfectly with the fuchsia carpet. She accessorized with a pair of nude peep-toe heels to elongate her legs. There were no jewelry in sight, but she still dazzled at this philanthropic affair.

Emma Watson has a new Lancome commercial for the fragrance, Tresor Midnight Paris.  The ad is rather sweet, and it leaves us with the impression that it will have a sequel.  It depicts the quintessential story of boy meets girl, then chases after her upon seeing her again.  Who knows?  Maybe they’ll fall in love in Part 2.

Natalie Portman is the face of Christian Dior’s Diorskin Forever.  The actress stars in the campaign for the new foundation for the brand.  She also headed the Miss Dior Cherie perfume ads earlier this year.   Her makeup is flawless, in a nude color palette similar to her gorgeous gown.  A strong brow framed her face, and anchored this close-up shot.
