Wardrobe: Turquoise-and-navy Peter Pilotto top and McQ floral frock with colorful applique
Beauty: Smoky-eyes were balanced by a nude pout and straight half-up half-down tresses
Color Critique: Gwen brought us an explosion of colors for fall and I loved it. She mixed prints and colors with a reckless abandonment that worked together beautifully. -
Beauty: Perfectly arched brows and hot pink lips were combined with an up-do
Color Critique: Gwen’s look was so pretty and high fashion, this is my idea of a fabulous cover. I couldn’t have loved her dramatic pink hat any more than I did and that dress has been on my radar for a while now.

Gwen Stefani wore a scene-stealing L.A.M.B. gown to the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. Her self-designed black lace halter had beautiful proportions, and a lot of shimmer. It also had a great silhouette with a fitted bodice and skirt, and ended in a dramatic mermaid hem. The upper portion may have been my favorite, I am partial to high necklines and pretty shapes. A gold belt and dangling bracelet accessorized this look. Her hair was sleek and styled away from her face, and her nude lip color complemented the emphasis on the eyes.
Gwen Stefani covers Elle magazine’s ’Music Issue’ for May 2011. The singer wore a fitted brown and black dress with ivory stripes from Givenchy’s Pre-Fall 2011 collection. Black leather sleeves, shoulders and side panels made this look a total badass. Those colors go well with the mustard yellow font on the cover. I love her platinum blond hair that has great volume for a rocking look. Her makeup was neutral with a touch of a smoky eye.
Gwen Stefani covers Elle UK magazine’s April 2011 issue, “The Romance Issue.” She is wearing a sheer dress in a nude chiffon with beautiful draping. It is feminine and romantic, the right choice for the cover. Her makeup is flawless and dramatic with dark red lips and beautifully arched brows. Gwen’s hair is styled in a mass of pretty golden curls to emphasize the softness of the shot.
Gwen Stefani gives us bold and rich in her new L’Oreal Infallible Le Rouge lip color commercial. Her lips are unapologetically crimson red, her trademark color. High contrasts was the theme here, the lipstick played very well against Gwen’s white wardrobe and platinum blond hair. It was a great idea to use her music in the background, it reminds us of how multi-talented she really is. This has to be one of the cosmetic maker’s edgier ads to date.
Gwen Stefani is the new spokesperson for beauty giant L’Oreal Paris. “I love playing dress up, on stage or shooting videos, it’s always been one of my favorite parts of being in a band,” says the singer/designer. This is dress up on another level. She joins an impressive list of celebrities like Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Eva Longoria who are already a part of the L’Oreal team. First up for Gwen is the Infallible Le Rouge lip color campaign, and the commercial airs on Sunday during the Golden Globes. The cosmetic brand scored big with Ms. Stefani because she is relatable to a wide demographic.
