Heidi Klum in Versace at HALO Awards in L.A.

Heidi Klum attended the Teen Nick HALO Awards in Hollywood wearing a little black Versace number. The event was aimed at acknowledging teens who make contributions to the community. Her dress had a green swirl starting at the waistline, and fell at the hem. It was playful, and just perfect for the evening. She accessorized with peep-toe heels, and a wrist full of bracelets in multiple colors, and metals. The hair had that California beachy look, while her makeup was subtle, and neutral.

Heidi Klum in Thomas Wylde at ‘Shine’ Fragrance Launch in LA

Heidi Klum wore a Thomas Wylde design to her “Shine” fragrance launch in Los Angeles. The black and white leopard print number was definitely an updated version of this style of dress. Small skulls adorned the fabric, this we do not see everyday. It also had a figuring-hugging silhouette and a boat neckline. I’m loving the matching pattern in the sole of her peep-toe shoes, she gets points for her attention to detail, no matter how discreet.

Donna Karan Designs T-shirt for Saks’ Key to the Cure

Three dynamos have teamed up in the fight against cancer.  Actress Uma Thurman was named the new ambassador for Saks’ Key for the Cure annual event this year.  Donna Karan designed the T-shirt to raise funds that will help eradicate the disease.   The designer says, “[f]or me, it’s not just about dressing women; it’s about addressing the issues that are so important to all of us.”  Uma Thurman takes the mantle from model Heidi Klum who served as ambassador last year.  “Everyone I know has been affected by breast cancer one way or the other,” says Thurman. “It is vital that we work toward a cure as well as develop more accurate and advance testing.”  The long-sleeved T-shirt has a great graphic print with various shades of pink.  It will retail for $35 each and sold at Saks Fifth Avenue stores, and online at Saks.com.  Get ready to start shopping for a good cause on October 1st when it goes on sale.    All of the proceeds raised will go to local charities.  The annual shopping event will be from October 19th – 24th.
