Kristen Stewart looks gorgeous on the cover of the September issue of W Magazine for 2011.  She was styled like a burnett Bridgette Bardot, and these images were among the more alluring of the actress.  The hair, makeup and wardrobe all came together and created a bombshell.  There was a softness to her facial expression, and in her overall presence in the shoot.

Kristen Stewart Covers Vogue’s February 2011 Issue

Kristen Stewart utilized her star quality for the cover of Vogue’s February 2011 issue.  The Twilight beauty has been making all the right moves on the red carpet, and she brought her fashion sense to the publication.  Her body language on the cover reads as being closed-off, but her eyes make an unmistakeable connection with the camera.  What one may read as uncooperative , could really be vulnerability.  Either way, it is this duality that has made Kristen into a star.  She has an endearing quality that is easily captured on film. There is no denying that she looks gorgeous on the cover.

Kristen Stewart Dazzled in Reem Acra at People’s Choice Awards

Kristen Stewart rocked the 2011 People’s Choice Awards in a metallic gold mini-dress.  The golden number was from Reem Acra’s Spring 2011 collection.  It was a sequined tank-styled dress that had a short hemline, but was big on wow factor.  This was the perfect dress for a young starlet; it had all the glitz and glamour without trying too hard.  Kristen’s red carpet style strategy is becoming apparent, distract us with those killer legs; mission accomplished.

Kristen Stewart Wears Valentino to Screening in NYC

E! Online

Kristen Stewart was lovely in this black Valentino lace dress at the screening of Welcome to the Rileys in New York City.  The one-shoulder mini dress was paired with a pair of satin high heels.  I love the illusion of transparency when it comes to lace.  It has a beautiful shoulder detail that makes more than a simple little black dress.  The length and the fit makes it youthful.  Stewart’s bold red lips and dark eyes complete the sexy red carpet look.

Twilight Eclipse premiered last night, and the stars made an eye-opening fashion impact.  Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning took top honors in Gucci and Elie Saab respectively.  Rob wore a maroon colored Gucci suit that was fitted to perfection.  The color choice was risky, but this vampire totally made it work.

Then there was Kristen Stewart in a white one-shoulder Elie Saab dress.  It was a sexy look that sparkled with a daring cut-out in the back.  Her look was young and rocking, and a great choice for the evening.

Dakota Fanning also wore an Elie Saab dress.  Her dress was a nude one-shoulder look that was young and flirty.  It was also a little more modest than Kristen’s, and very befitting for her age.

They each got it right at the premiere.  It appears young Hollywood is maturing before our eyes, at least in their fashion choices.  Oh, and if you were wondering, I’m Team Edward!

‘New Moon’ and The Talented Mr. Robert Pattinson

Today is the premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and it opens nation wide tomorrow, November 20th.  To my surprise, the  Twilight bug has finally bitten me, at least I think it was a bug.  Having already been through the vampire phase several times over in the 1990′s, I was very resistant to a new crop blood suckers.  While many were waxing poetically about the great characters from Twilight and New Moon, I often looked on with a glazed look in my eyes.  That was until I caught a recent interview with one of the stars, Robert Pattinson, and was left with a healthy respect for his, um, talent.  Pattinson is very engaging and extremely likeable, yup, all the right traits to be successful in the vampire business.  He plays Edward Cullen alongside Kristen Stewart, as Bella Swan and their chemistry is off the charts.  No wonder they are constantly plagued by rumors of an off screen romance.  Legend has it that our fascination with vampires is sexual in nature; I’ve never really bought into this theory, until recently.  Now the sceptic walks away a believer, and admittedly, with a bit of a crush.  New Moon makes our Rollcall list this week.  The first movie grossed $383 million worldwide, and this one will rival its predecessor’s box office receipts.  It’s is definitely on my must see list, even if I’m unwilling to brave the crowd of teenage fans this weekend.
