Olivia Wilde in Lanvin and Marc Jacobs at Revlon’s NYC Launch
Olivia Wilde mixed it up at Revlon’s New York City launch in a Lanvin blouse and Marc Jacobs skirt. The brand’s ambassador wore a sleeveless top with sculpted floral details at the neckline for an ultra feminine touch. Her black-and-white polka dot bottom had large centered pleating and a mid-thigh length. A black band at the waist, tights and Mary Jane heels pulled this look together. She styled her hair in an updo with side-swept bangs, and her makeup was soft and neutral with a pale lavender eye shadow.

Zoe Saldana in Lanvin at Label’s Bash
Zoe Saldana opted for a colorblock Lanvin design for the label’s dinner. It had a fringe pattern that took on geometric shapes in tangerine, orange and pink. Her cocktail dress was fun and playful, with a 1920′s inspiration. A statement necklace repeated her outfit’s design elements. She paired her look with flat black sandals, and metallic bracelets. I loved the fullness and body in her curls, and her bold red lip color was a bright accent.

Emma Stone in Lanvin at ‘Woman of the Year’ Event
Emma Stone went for a goddess- like design from Lanvin for “Glamour” magazine’s Woman of the Year event. Her gown had the fashion house’ signature draping in a bevy of delicate gold pleating. It also had a deep plunging neckline that elongated the actress from the neck up; a thigh-high slit did the same for her legs. The shoulders had a safety-pin like detail that held together deconstructed edges. She accessorized with a pair of tan heels with ballerina-esque ankle straps. A ribbon belt, and a chain necklace with vintage charm also accompanied this look. Her hair was styled in an easy ponytail with side-swept bangs, while her makeup was neutral with a sheer, rosy lip color.

Emma Stone made quite an entrance on the red carpet in Lanvin at “The Help” premiere in Germany. The actress was stunning in a strapless, floor-length gown. It had a sweetheart neckline, and detailed draping in the bodice. A black band at the waistline gave it beautiful proportions. The skirt hung to perfection. She accessorized with a gold clutch with a satin sheen to off-set the matte appearance of the dress. Her hair was styled to reveal a dangling earring, and flawless makeup.
Lanvin – RTW Spring 2012

Lanvin opened with strong, structured looks with bold shoulders for Spring 2012. It was a parade of fitted dresses and straight skirts. Black dominated the color palette, then followed by taupe and gray. These looks were lustruous with a satin sheen. Chartreuse, seafoam green and white came later, to my delight, they held all the hallmarks of the season. The one-shoulder dresses walked alongside sheers that were light and flowy, some even had peek-a-boo cut-outs. Alber Elbaz also designed coat dresses and great pant looks in luxurious silk. There even some embellished pieces and serpent-like prints on a black background.

Beyonce made quite an entrance in Lanvin at the launch of her fragrance ‘Pulse’ at Macy’s. The mother-to-be wore a white halter gown with fringes in the skirt. Strings of beads made up the neckline, while soft draping formed in the bodice. Her bracelets matched the details in the dress. A neutral face kept her look fresh and natural with an inner glow.
Sandra Bullock in Lanvin Jumpsuit at ‘The Change-Up’ Premiere
Sandra Bullock attended the premiere of The Change-Up in a strapless jumpsuit from Lanvin. The actress went to support her friend, actor Ryan Reynold’s. She struck the right note with this look because this not her movie release. It was a more informal look that had the design house’s signature craftsmanship in the top. It was fitted in both the bodice and pants; this outfit says she was feeling confident and playful. A pair of black high-heels was a beautiful addition to her red carpet ensemble.

Julianne Moore worked a beautifully crafted Lanvin design at “The Today.” The light grey dress had a clean bodice with gathering details in the skirt. This look was simple, but gorgeous. It also had a high neckline and fell right at her knee. She selected a bold pair of Alexander Wang’s two-tone sandals to balance the simplicity of her look. Her black leather bag was just as fashion forward as the high heels, they allowed the actress to play with the accessories as she continues to wear gorgeous understated pieces.
