Gwen Stefani gives us bold and rich in her new L’Oreal Infallible Le Rouge lip color commercial.  Her lips are unapologetically crimson red, her trademark color.  High contrasts was the theme here, the lipstick played very well against Gwen’s white wardrobe and platinum blond hair.  It was a great idea to use her music in the background, it reminds us of how multi-talented she really is.  This has to be one of the cosmetic maker’s edgier ads to date.

Gwen Stefani is the new spokesperson for beauty giant L’Oreal Paris.  “I love playing dress up, on stage or shooting videos, it’s always been one of my favorite parts of being in a band,” says the singer/designer.  This is dress up on another level.  She joins an impressive list of celebrities like Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Eva Longoria who are already a part of the L’Oreal team.  First up for Gwen is the Infallible Le Rouge lip color campaign, and the commercial airs on Sunday during the Golden Globes.  The cosmetic brand scored big with Ms. Stefani because she is relatable to a wide demographic.

Jennifer Lopez has inked a new deal with L’Oreal Paris, she is their new Global Brand Ambassador for EverSleek.  This is not Lopez’ and L’Oreal’s first time working together, she was the spokesperson for the Feria Color Campaign back in 2001.  Her new commercials for their haircare and makeup lines will start airing in January 2011.  Jennifer joins an impressive list of spokeswomen - Beyonce, Rachel Weisz, Eva Longoria and Kerry Washington to name a few.  She is clearly a good addition to the brand, and she’s worth it.  Check out an older commercial of Ms. Lopez for L’Oreal.

Beyonce has a new L’Oreal commercial, and it is clear the lips have it.  She is wearing a lip color so red it rivals the shade on actual strawberries.  If it can stay true during the singer’s on-stage performance, then sign me up.  Her Infallible Never Fail Lipcolor will be perfect for the red carpet, cue the makeup artist for the Emmy’s next month.  L’Oreal struck gold when they selected Beyonce as their spokesperson, sure they’re probably paying a pretty penny, but ‘she’s worth it.’
