Olivia Wilde mixed it up at Revlon’s New York City launch in a Lanvin blouse and Marc Jacobs skirt. The brand’s ambassador wore a sleeveless top with sculpted floral details at the neckline for an ultra feminine touch. Her black-and-white polka dot bottom had large centered pleating and a mid-thigh length. A black band at the waist, tights and Mary Jane heels pulled this look together. She styled her hair in an updo with side-swept bangs, and her makeup was soft and neutral with a pale lavender eye shadow.

Kerry Washington selected an embroidered Marc Jacobs design for the Susan G. Komen ‘Honoring the Promise’ benefit in Washington, DC. The event was aimed at raising funds to find a cure. She opted for a sleeveless blush-and-black look with a beautiful dark pattern. Her top had a faux strapless appearance, and it was paired with a matching straight skirt. The actress accessorized with peep-toe platforms and an embellished clutch. Her makeup was neutral, nude colors on both the eyes and lips, while her hair was styled in soft curls.

Rihanna covers the September 2011 mega issue of “Glamour” magazine in a white halter top and dark sequin pants. Her red hair is vibrant, almost electric in the image. The editorial inside had pieces from Marc Jacobs to Yves Saint Laurent. You can see the high energy from this shoot, and it makes veiwing the photos a pleasurable experience. A wardrobe of bright colors in red, yellow and teal gave this feature a lightness that draws you in.

Louis Vuitton has given us a behind the scenes look at its Fall 2011 campaign.  It even offers commentary from the label’s creative director, Marc Jacobs.  We also get a glimpse of the models as they struck poses for those great campaign shots.

Dakota Fanning was tapped to be the face of Marc Jacobs’ new fragrance, Oh Lola.  This image is innocent and youthful, with just enough mischief.  It’s all about the color pink, from the perfume bottle right down to the actress’ wardrobe.  She wore a polka dot dress with   a scalloped hemline and feminine sensibilities.  The campaign will debut in August,  so be ready to see these ads everywhere later this summer.
