Tom Ford Covers French Vogue’s Holiday Issue

Tom Ford covers the Holiday issue of Vogue France with model Daphne Groeneveld.  The dapper fashion designer/movie director was also the guest editor of the issue.  Fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott shot the December 2010 cover.  Only half of Ford’s face is revealed, while Daphne is in the center of the shot.  Both are dressed in black-tie, Tom in a tuxedo and the model in elegant black.  Her makeup is extremely dramatic, the eyes are a deep smoky gray and her lips a bold red color; they only accentuated the drama of the shoot and the excitement surrounding this special December issue.
