Mystery Solved! What It’s Like Inside Nordstrom’s Treasure & Bond [Racked NY]

Friday, September 10th will be the second year of the global event, Fashion’s Night Out.  It was created to encourage shoppers to go out and patronize their favorite retail establishment.  It’s a night of parties, fun and celebration.  This is the evening when you can actually shop till you drop because some stores will be open as late as 11:00pm.  Below is a list of a few boutiques and department stores where you can engage in some after-work retail therapy in New York City.

Fashion’s Night Out 2010: NYC

Bergdorf’s - Sarah Jessica Parker and Tom Ford among others.  There will also be a runway show for the dogs, yes man’s best friend.  Expect Georgina Chapman and Monique Lhuillier to take part with their furry friends. 754 Fifth Avenue.

Botiker -  Open late at 246 Mott Street in NoLIta, cocktails & sweet treats!

Derek Lam – Model Maryna Linchuk will be hosting an #FNO celebration at Derek Lam’s boutique on 12 Crosby Street; corner of Howard.

Diane von Furstenberg and Refinery 29 are hosting a party with HP for FNO and you’re invited! Friday, September 10, 6:00 to 11:00p.m., Diane von Furstenberg; 874 Washington Street (at West 14th Street.)

Lord & Taylor - Singer Matisse will be performing at Lord & Taylor during FNO. – 424 5th Avenue.

Marc by Marc Jacobs @ Bloomingdales - Ice-Cream truck will be parked out front of Bloomingdale’s Soho store.  Truck will sell jewelry from Fall collection. – 504 Broadway.

Nordstrom -  Jeffrey store in the heart of the Meatpacking District in New York City, where partygoers will include Christina Ricci, Jason Wu, Nicholas Kirkwood, Monique Pean, Devon Scott and more. – 449 West 14th Street.

Rachel Roy @Macy’s – Jessica Stam will style you at Macy’s Herald Square, 151 West 34th Street from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Rag & Bone - Halle Berry (Vogue’s cover girl) will be there, with Gucci Westman for Revlon at 7:30pm. – 119 Mercer Street (between Prince & Spring.)

Victoria’s Secret SoHo Store – Adriana Lima, Doutzen Kroes, Chanel Iman will be there from 7:00pm-10:00pm. - 591 Broadway (between Houston & Prince.)

Burberry has a new 96-piece beauty collection ready to debut in July.  Though legendary for its trench coats, this is the fashion house’s first foray into makeup.  Chief creative officer Christopher Bailey compares the new line to Burberry’s trench coats.   If that’s the case, we should expect timeless and enduring beauty from this collection.  Models Rosie Huntington, Lily Donaldson and Nina Porter look absolutely stunning in the makeup.  If only we could all look as good in Burberry’s beauty line?  You can pick up your best shade of lipstick or foundation at Nordstrom or Burberry.com.
