Oscar de la Renta Taps Karlie Kloss for Spring 2012 Ad Campaign
Oscar de la Renta selected Karlie Kloss for his Spring 2012 campaign, she has the classic good looks that works beautifully with his collection. The strapless fringe dress paired with the structured wedged heels was my favorite.
Photographer Craig McDean placed the colorful designs against a black-and-white background and the result was magic. A neutral back-drop allowed the pieces to pop.
Her hair was styled in a sleek center-parted bun and the make-up was stunning; it highlighted her enviable cheek-bones. I loved these ads because I get an Alice in Wonderland vibe from them.

Oscar de la Renta Fall 2011 Ad Campaign
Oscar de la Renta debuted his Fall 2011 campaign that stars model Karlie Kloss. The ad grabs you at first sight with color, motion and contrast; it was lensed by photographer Craig McDean. The juxtaposition of the refined pieces against commonplace everdyay items was genius. Everything came together for that shot- the great styling, the movement of her hair and the subtle angles of her body. The high-waisted black-and-white tweed suit with the flirty hemline and bolero jacket was perfection.

Gisele Bundchen really worked this metallic Oscar de la Renta gown at the AFI Achievement Awards. Her dress had sphagetti straps, a V-neckline and a faux wrap bodice. The fit was perfect all the way down to the sweeping train. Pewter sequins were paired with a fuchsia belt to much success. It was simultaneously sexy and sweet. She matched her clutch to the metal in her attire. A deceptively simple ponytail and neutral makeup finished-off her look.

Kristin Davis in Oscar de la Renta at Costume Designers Guild Awards
Kristin Davis was the belle of the ball in Oscar de la Renta at the Costume Designers Guild Awards last night. Her white gown with black polka dots and white tulle overlay was both charming and romantic. It was fitted in the bodice and flared out into a full skirt with a black satin sash at the waist. Kristin’s loose curls rested on her bare shoulders in the strapless beauty, and she opted against any jewelry because the dress was gorgeous enough to stand on its own.
