The actress wore a daring LBD with cut-outs replaced by sheer inserts. It had an unmistakable plunging back, the illusion of bare skin was achieved. I loved the angles and modern lines at the waist and in the skirt. She accessorized with peep-toe Christian Louboutin high heels. Her hair was styled in a sleek updo with a side part and the makeup was dramatic with a bold red lip for a pop of color.

Kerry Washington sparkled in a Prabal Gurung design at the ‘GQ’ Men of the Year celebration in Los Angeles. She selected a tri-colored sequined mini-dress with three-quarter sleeves. Her A-line frock had a boat neckline, and a shimmering red, gunmetal and black effect. She allowed her outfit to shine by accessorizing with a simple pair peep-toe platform heels. Soft curls, and a neutral makeup palette completed her look.

Ashley Greene opted for an asymmetrical Narciso Rodriguez design for the Toronto premiere of “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.” Her red dress had loose draping in the bodice, and geometric details in the waist. The style was youthful and modern. She paired it with nude Jimmy Choo platform pumps, drop-down earrings and a bracelet. Her hair was sleek in front and fell onto her back. Her makeup was fresh and pretty, with a strong brow framing her face.

Amanda Seyfried donned a feathered Prabal Gurung dress for the 8th Annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in New York City. This confection was white with a black trim at the neckline. It also had a drop-waist, and sheer hemline. This look was all about the expert attention to detail. She accessorized with the designer’s namesake heels for Nicholas Kirkwood, with ankle straps. Her hair was styled straight, and center-parted, while the makeup was pretty with a rosy cheek and lip color.
