Fashion’s Night Out 2010: List of NYC Shopping Events

Friday, September 10th will be the second year of the global event, Fashion’s Night Out.  It was created to encourage shoppers to go out and patronize their favorite retail establishment.  It’s a night of parties, fun and celebration.  This is the evening when you can actually shop till you drop because some stores will be open as late as 11:00pm.  Below is a list of a few boutiques and department stores where you can engage in some after-work retail therapy in New York City.

Fashion’s Night Out 2010: NYC

Bergdorf’s - Sarah Jessica Parker and Tom Ford among others.  There will also be a runway show for the dogs, yes man’s best friend.  Expect Georgina Chapman and Monique Lhuillier to take part with their furry friends. 754 Fifth Avenue.

Botiker -  Open late at 246 Mott Street in NoLIta, cocktails & sweet treats!

Derek Lam – Model Maryna Linchuk will be hosting an #FNO celebration at Derek Lam’s boutique on 12 Crosby Street; corner of Howard.

Diane von Furstenberg and Refinery 29 are hosting a party with HP for FNO and you’re invited! Friday, September 10, 6:00 to 11:00p.m., Diane von Furstenberg; 874 Washington Street (at West 14th Street.)

Lord & Taylor - Singer Matisse will be performing at Lord & Taylor during FNO. – 424 5th Avenue.

Winners Announced At CFDA Awards

The beautiful people came out tonight at Lincoln Center to hear the winners announced at the CFDA Awards.  There were very few surprises.  The big winner of the evening was Marc Jacobs for Womenswear Designer of the Year.  Take a look at the list of winners and nominees below to see if you agree with the outcome.
