Emmy Rossum was a standout in a sparkling Ralph Lauren design at the “Shameless” premiere in Los Angeles. The actress dazzled on the red carpet in a beaded silver dress with a V-neckline.

It had a gorgeous pattern that contained a geometric element. I loved the glamour of frock and her total look. She accessorized with a crystal covered clutch and matching high heel sandals. Her jewels were equally brilliant.

The hair fully complemented her outfit; pinned-curled waves added to the 1920′s vibe. Her makeup was dramatic with a strong brow and a bold crimson lip color. This was easily one of my favorite looks of the week.

Catherine Middleton shows us that helping others is chic and she does it Ralph Lauren. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a belted turtleneck sweaterdress in charcoal gray. It had long sleeves and fell just above the knee. She accessorized with black tights and knee-high boots.

Her hair was styled in glossy curls and the makeup was in a neutral color palette with a strong brow. This was the right look for the occasion, perfectly polished and stylish.

Angelina Jolie was graceful in Ralph Lauren at the premiere of In the Land of Milk and Honey in New York City. She wore a black top with slit sleeves and a floor length RL Collection skirt. The actress tucked her blouse inside and gave it a bluson effect. Her attire had a lustrous sheen and liquid-like fluidity. She accompanied her look with gold accessories. Soft curls rested on her shoulders and down her back, and the makeup was in a neutral palette right down to her lip color.

Taylor Swift made our celebrity street style list walking in New York City in a Ralph Lauren sweater. The singer wore a black cashmere top with a crew neck, and tucked it into a pleated marigold mini-skirt. She accessorized with a teal handbag and red heels. Her hair was in a glamorous updo with retro pin curls in front. The makeup was classic and accented with a bright red lip color.

Freida Pinto opted for a beaded Ralph Lauren design for the premiere of “Trishna” at the London International Film Festival. The actress wore a shimmering black jumpsuit with a plunging neckline. It was decadent in its texture and shine. She accessorized with a diamond bracelet, and a pink clutch with monochromatic designs. Her hair was in an elegant up-do, and the makeup was flawless.

Uma Thurman opted for a sleek Ralph Lauren look for the Vertu event in Milan. Her black tuxedo style ensemble involved a one-shoulder blouse paired with an ankle length skirt. It was elegant attire for this evening affair. The satin finish of her top contrasted beautifully with the matte bottom. Both pieces were unified by a belt with metallic hardware. She accessorized with sling back heels, a clutch and diamonds. Her makeup was classic, with a glossy lip, and the hair had volume and curls. Her look was reminiscent of Lauren Bacall, strong and gorgeous.

Camilla Belle attended the Veuve Clicquot polo match in Ralph Lauren. It was a floral dress in a sporty tank style, with a handkerchief hem. The print was made up of Autumn leaves, think of an earth-tone color palette. She paired it with leather platform, of the same designer, and bracelets of similar hues. Dangling gold earrings, and a bright lip-color stood-out amongs a sea of neutral shades.

Penelope Cruz covers the Fall 2011 issue of V Magazine in a structured Ralph Lauren suit.  This is a high fashion shot from the photography of Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, right down to the excellent styling.  It also has  great artistic values, check out the use of colors, shapes and patterns.  The issue is aptly titled, “The Transformational Issue;” that alone could describe the actress’ recent journey into motherhood.

Michelle Obama stepped out in another gorgeous gown in the United Kingdom, this time she wore Ralph Lauren.  President and Mrs. O hosted a dinner at the residence of the United States Ambassador to the UK.  Her off-the shoulder dress was the convergence of black satin with crepe to create a stunning look.  The top was fitted in the bodice and the skirt fell beautifully to the floor.  Her silver statement necklace benefited from her portrait neckline, it stood out.  I loved that she added the cuff bracelet and cocktail ring.

David Beckham covers the April 2011 issue of L.A. Confidential in a Ralph Lauren Black Label suit.  The soccer star gazes intently into the lenses for his close-up.  The shots were taken by photographer Anthony Mandler for the magazine’s ‘Real Estate and Design Issue.’  David is very dapper in his editorial, he’s right at home in front of the cameras.  Inside he talks about his career and family, including wife Victoria Beckham.  .
