Vanity Fair March 2012: Hollywood Issue – Rooney Mara, Jessica Chastain…

Some of the hottest new stars have been feautured on the cover of “Vanity Fair’s” Hollywood Issue for March 2012. They appear impeccably dressed and perfectly coiffed.

On the front are Rooney Mara, Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain and Mia Wasikowska. Each are acknowledged for what they have done so far and the promise of what is to come.

Within the folds are other noteworthy newcomers like Elizabeth Olsen, Adepero Oduye, Shailene Woodley, Paula Patton, Felicity Jones, Lily Collins and Brit Marling. Remember their names because we will be seeing many of them in more films and fashion magazines.

I like the luminous treatment given to the images, lighting is indeed everything. Photographer Mario Testino captured these talented ladies for this issue.

Scarlett Johannson for ‘Vanity Fair’ December 2011

Scarlett Johannson posed for the December 2011 cover of “Vanity Fair” with an over-the-shoulder glance. The actress held a cover-up for coverage. Her hair was in an up-do, and it had a pretty ginger tint which played well with her blue eyes, and pink stained lips. It was a natural image, unforced. She stands before us baring her soul in barely-there makeup, and just a fabric as a barrier.
