Hussein Chalayan was minimalism mixed with the ornate for Spring 2012. Grey, white and pale yellow were accompanied by a bright print on a black background. Some pieces sported clean lines, while others had frills and ruffles. The jackets combined structured shoulders with a beautiful, easy fit. I was drawn to the chicer looks in a neutral color palette because of the silhouette, and the way they fell against the body.
