Moschino made black-tie rocking for Fall 2011.  The tuxedo inspired looks took over the runway, think tailored coats and jackets.  No black-tie affair would be complete without the little black dress.  There were two beautiful LBD’s, one adorned with white ruffles at the neckline and waistline, the other much simpler and austere.  Both followed the peplum trend seen during New York Fashion Week.  Each look was styled with elbow-length gloves and gold jewelry by Anna Dello Russo.  I could not shake a Breakfast at Tiffany’s moment or two, but that was a very good thing.
