Tom Ford’s Fall 2011 campaign was a lesson in the opulence of bold colors, furs and textures. It was rich and decadent for the eyes; dramatic and vibrant are just two words I would use to describe it. The models looked as if they could walk right out of the ads and down the street of fabulousness. Red, green and purple unapologetically took centerstage, as will the label’s loyal clientele. These images will appeal to the daring diva inside us all.

Oscar de la Renta debuted his Fall 2011 campaign that stars model Karlie Kloss.  The ad grabs you at first sight with color, motion and contrast; it was lensed by photographer Craig McDean.  The juxtaposition of the refined pieces against commonplace everdyay items was genius.  Everything came together for that shot- the great styling, the movement of her hair and the subtle angles of her body.  The high-waisted black-and-white tweed suit with the flirty hemline and bolero jacket was perfection.

Rachel Weisz is the face of Jasmin Noir by Bulgari, and the fragrance’s new campaign has debuted.  The actress is ever faithful to the scent as she poses with only a strategically placed bottle, and the brand’s jewels.  There is something vulnerable, yet alluring about these images.  It lies in her expression.  They played up the texture in her pillow against the shininess of the other props adding balance and depth.

The new Marc by Marc Jacobs campaign for Fall 2011 stars Elle Fanning in warm rustic colors.  The actress’ wind-swept hair and oxfords paired with socks depicted the autumn season in full effect.

D&G has debuted a Fall 2011 ad campaign that’s full of brightly hued graphics and prints.  It boasts a diverse casting and superb styling.  These images are aesthetically pleasing and bold.  The dresses range from the flowy to the fitted.  I’m loving the oranges, pinks and yellows; all anchored by the color black.  An old train station was the perfect backdrop for this shoot, the contrast of the fading ceilings and old signages were striking against the collection.

Louis Vuitton has given us a behind the scenes look at its Fall 2011 campaign.  It even offers commentary from the label’s creative director, Marc Jacobs.  We also get a glimpse of the models as they struck poses for those great campaign shots.

Beyonce has a new fragrance due to be released in September.  This is the singer’s third perfume, and as she described it to Elle,” Pulse represents the woman I am on stage.”  So we should expect this scent to be fierce.  The name references her heartbeat during her performances.  Even the packaging is intriguing, it comes in an upside down bottle filled with ice blue liquid. 

Prada has unveiled its new Fall 2011 campaign, and it features bold patterns for the season.  The models are relaxed, allowing the collection to convey the luxury of the brand.  Warm autumn colors are front and center alongside snakeskin boots and satchel handbags.  I love that the geometric shapes in the background and carpet plays off of those in the garments.  It’s all about the details.
