Angelina Jolie was the picture of elegance at the Sarajevo Film Festival in an Elie Saab blouson gown from the Spring 2011 collection.   Her coral dress had great fluidity and movement, especially in the skirt.  I loved the drapery effect in both the bodice and sleeves.  The belted waist and thigh-high slit streamlined the effect of the billowy top.  Three quarter length sleeves gave this retro inspired look a modern spin.  She wore a pair of nude peep-toe heels to complete her dramatic ensemble for her turn on the red carpet.

Forbes  list of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood has been released, and many of our red carpet favorites made the cut.  At the number one spot we have both Angelina Jolie and Sarah Jessica Parker at $30 million each.  Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon tied in second place at $28 million.  Julia Roberts and Kristin Stewart took third place honors at $20 million.  See where your favoirte actress landed below as we rounded-up the top ten.

Angelina Jolie stars in the new Louis Vuitton ‘Core Values’ campaign.  The actress looks tranquil as she relaxes on a wooden boat in Cambodia.  There’s an ease about her and it’s reflected in her attire and pose.  She is dressed in her own wardrobe and accessorized with her monogrammed bag.  Annie Leibovitz shot the ad for the luxury brand.  Her natural beauty shines through in this environment.

Angelina Jolie was the lady in red last night in Jenny Packham at the Los Angeles premiere of the Tree of Life.  Her one-shouldered gown was in a flowy chiffon with a satin belt several hues darker than the dress.  She wore her hair about her shoulders and her lipstick matched her crimson look.  There is something glamorous and retro about her appearance, she looks like a Hollywood star.

Angelina Jolie was both regal and festive in Atelier Versace at the Madrid premiere of The Tourist.  Her gown was fully embellished in the bodice with beads of crystals, and the lower half was a full skirt of velvet that fell to the floor.  The fitted metallic top had an illusion of transparency and a wide V-neckline.  A black velvet shawl accompanied her look for the evening.  Diamond earrings were the actress’ jewelry of choice, additional jewelry would have competed with the top of her dress whichhad  its own dazzling shine. It was an elegant and formal look that was quite befitting of her movie star status on the red carpet.

The nominations for the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards are in, and some of our favorite actresses will be competing for a Globe in the Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy.  Before the winner is announced, there will be a winner on the red carpet.  Angelina Jolie has been nominated for The Tourist.  She is in great company with Anne Hathaway for Love & Other Drugs, and Julianne Moore for The Kids Are Alright.  This will be a momentous evening because of the grace and style they have each exhibited on the red carpet.

Angelina Jolie was gorgeous in Atelier Versace at the New York premiere of Tourist.  She walked the red carpet in a floor-length winter white gown with a thigh-high slit; signature sexy Versace.   The draping hung beautifully on her statuesque frame.  Long sleeves and the angora fabric made the white seasonal, even after Labor Day.  She accessorized with matching stilettos, and her jewelry was limited to a pair of earrings. Angelina wore her hair flowing about her shoulders and her makeup classic.  Elegance is always a win own this real life runway.

Angelina Jolie is on the cover of U.S. Vogue’s December 2010 issue.  She is wearing a loose fitting white Tom Ford dress with a plunging back and a black lace-up corset underneath.  I love the black and white photo inside because of the artistic value; we see more of an outline of her body in the midst of the natural light and shadows.  The actress is promoting her new movie, The Tourist, with Johnny Depp.  In the article she talks family, style, career and philanthropy; we know as much about her philanthropic works as we do her acting.  This issue will be on newsstands on November 23rd.

Angelina Jolie continues her reign on the red carpet.  She was lovely in Pamella Roland at Salt’s premiere in Paris.  The dress was very sophisticated, and had an iridescent shine; her hair and make-up were equally elegant.  The shimmering lame fabric gave the dress much needed glamour for the evening, this was a grown-up dress.  It was ivory, almost pearlized with an open faux wrap front.  It was simple, with beautiful details like the different shoulder straps, one was an unexpectedly thinner double strap.  The dress complemented Jolie’s tall and thin frame; her late Parisian mother would have been proud.

Angelina Jolie was super sexy at the Salt Tokyo premiere.  She arrived in a black Versace dress with a thigh-high slit.  Did I mention the low-cut back and the additional slit on the right arm?  There was no mistaking the star on this red carpet.  Her chiffon dress floated ethereally as the actress glided along the carpet.  The high-neck of the gown was the most modest, and possibly my favorite; it was a bit of a contrast with the various slits and low-cut dips.  Jolie pulled it off beautifully, she managed to look incredibly graceful in this ultra sexy dress.  The only question left to ask is, “what will she wear to the next premiere?”  We will be watching.
