Blake Lively was lovely in a strapless Emilio Pucci dress last night at the Elle Style Awards in London.   She appeared in a sea of Caribbean blue with flowing multi-tiers that could easily pass as waves.  The dress boasted a peek-a-boo cut-out in the bodice and a shorter length in front that extended to the floor gradually in back.  This heavenly chiffon beauty was from the Spring 2011 collection and was awaiting its red carpet moment.  She accessorized with a gold necklace that complemented the gold side piping on the dress bodice and her golden locks.  Her hair was pulled back with the exception of a few wispsy pieces that went perfectly with the breezy feel of the dress.

Blake Lively wore Prabal Gurung last night to the 24th Annual Footwear News Achievement Awards at The Museum of Modern Art in New York City.  The actress wore a metallic green mini-dress with exaggerated shoulders and a black leather belt, it had the appearance of a faux wrap dress.  She accessorized with a pair of black and nude Louboutin booties with intricate details, and of course, signature red soles.  It was only fitting because Blake presented the shoe designer, Christian Louboutin, with the Person of the Year award.

Blake Lively wore Versace to the launch of Lorraine Schwartz’ new jewelry line, 2BHAPPY.  The nude colored sleeveless dress was gorgeous on the actress.  It had a faux strapless appearance because of the sheer straps, and sexy peek-a-boo cut-outs on the sides and back.  I loved the bustier styled effect in the upper bodice.  She accessorized with dazzling Lorraine Schwartz earrings that dangled effortlessly to the base of her neck.  Blake wore a pair of bronze high-heeled sandals and matching bracelets in an interesting shape.  Her hair was sleeked back into a center-part bun that finished-off her polished red carpet look.

Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively and Leighton Meester attended the 2010 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards dinner last night and both looked fabulous.  Blake wore a black peek-a-boo Chanel dress with gorgeous embroidery and embellishment.  She made all the right moves in that daring mini number that accentuated her figure.  Bordello red Christian Louboutin’s and straight hair finished off her red carpet look.  Leighton Meester wore a black-and-white Prabal Gurung dress to support the designer who was a runner-up for the evening.  Her dress was adorned with sparkling crystals in the bodice and shoulder straps.  Leighton selected a pair of black peep-toe Roger Vivier ankle boots to go with her avant garde dress.  Blake’s look was sexy and daring while Leighton went for picture perfect pretty; both  ladies were equally lovely. Designer Billy Reid won first place at the awards dinner and the $300,000 cash prize.  Jewelry designer Eddie Borgo was a runner-up alongside Prabal Gurung.

Actress Blake Lively is the cover girl for Vogue’s Best Dressed 2010 special edition issue.  The actress appears in a metallic gold dress with a plunging V-neckline and sleeveless arms.  It’s a glamorous cover, and it has all the sparkle for the Holiday season.  It was shot by fashion photographer, Patrick Demarchelier.  Blake made both the June 2010 and the February 2009 issues, so she is right at home.  Also on the best dressed list are Michelle Obama, Sarah Jessica Parker and Lady Gaga among numerous stylish others.  The special edition issue accompanies the December 2010 issue, and they hit the newsstands on November 23rd.

Blake Lively looked hot and youthful at Vertu’s smartphone launch party last night in New York City.  The actress wore a ruffled fuchsia Christian Dior dress from the Pre-Fall collection paired with a leather jacket, black tights and a pair of Christian Louboutin.  You can never go wrong when you combine a soft pretty dress with a rocking leather jacket.  The tights gave her look an edgier vibe, instead of simply pretty in pink.

Blake Lively wore a Lanvin gown from the Spring 2011 collection to the Scream Awards in Los Angeles.   This dress was gorgeous on the runway in Paris and on the actress.  The only difference is Blake’s dress was all grey with a bourbon trim and the runway look was camel on top and grey on the bottom.  Lively’s gown is high fashion and she smartly went minimal on the jewelry, only a few bracelets on the right wrist was needed.  It was a glamorous look.  I loved that her strappy sandals mimicked the design in the embellished neckline.  The thigh-high slit elongated her legs and the halter style cut on top showed-off her fabulous shoulders.

Here we have actress Blake Lively on the set of Gossip Girl in a pair of Raphael Young’s blue leopard sparkling shoes from his Spring/Summer 2010 collection and a flowing black and white Jenny Packham gown.  The scene was from “The Undergraduate.”  Young is a growing favorite among Hollywood’s most stylish, and apparently also among some of the Upper East Side’s most fashionable residents. – XOXO

Interview made Blake Lively the cover of their September 2010 issue.  The actress makes her cover appearance in handcuffs ala fashion photographer Craig McDean.  Blake channels Old Hollywood, the beautiful starlets with a penchant for bad behavior; hence the jailhouse accommodations in this editorial.  Just look at the well-coiffed hair and bright red mouth below, she makes being bad look so good.  Lively has an aura of an old soul, and these dramatic looks suit her perfectly.  Rumor has it that the Gossip Girl wants out of the television drama to pursue a movie career.  She has a new film directed by Ben Affleck, The Town, due out this month.

Season 4 of Gossip Girl is just around the corner. The finale ended with quite a cliff-hanger, namely Chuck getting shot during a robbery.
