Rachel Zoe unveiled her eponymously named clothing line, and it was just as fantastic as one would expect it to be.  We didn’t even mention the superb styling yet; great layering of blazers and coats.  Think of a mix of light and dark colors; heavy and light fabrics.  Zoe’s signature can be seen everywhere and that’s a bonus.  This collection epitomizes modernity and chicness.   It’s quite possibly power-dressing for the new decade; strong, without having to compromise on being a woman.

The Row opted to show its Spring 2011 collection in Pais instead of New York this season.  The presentation offered easy and relaxed pieces; they were simple and understated with an effortlessness about them.  Hemlines were modest and past the calves, but the necklines were a deep plunging V.  There was something very freeing about this collection, perhaps because it lacked the confinement of constricting designs.  The fit was flowy and loose.  It felt earthy in a neutral color palette of black, white and barely blush.  We learned that The Row girl was low maintenance for spring, and that was reinforced by her choice of flats over high heels.

L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani is easily one the most successful celebrity clothing line out there.  It is also one of the most coveted tickets during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York.  Stefani designed a collection for Spring 2011 that she could easily rock.

Here we have the little black dress with a drop waist in a light and sheer fabric.  The details on the sleeves and hem, along with the sexy lower back makes for a feminine and flirty dress.

This dress is very similar to the little black dress, but in a diagonally striped pattern that gives it a more casual vibe. 

Now we have a casual denim look with a pattern on the top and a unique patchwork print skirt. 

There were a few sexy military-inspired looks for spring in army green.  This two-toned top with one-shoulder could probably get you enlisted.

The second military look bares a midriff and a statement necklace, let’s hope only one of those will be in-trend for the season.  I’ll take the necklace please.  It’s accessorized with a bag and bracelet to glam it up.  This was a beautiful and well thought-out collection with Gwen Stefani’s signature style woven throughout.

Rumor has it that Victoria Beckham is in talks to collaborate on a handbag line with Katie Hillier.  Beckham has already exceeded expectations with her dress collection, and many are curious to see if she could deliver the same stylish aesthetic to a bag line.  Her collaborative partner, accessories designer Katie Hillier, is also the reason for much of the excitement.  Hillier’s work on the Marc by Marc Jacobs line still lingers in the minds of accessories lovers.  Everyone is left anticipating the confirmation of this project.  No doubt they are also waiting to make that purchase.

Taylor Momsen has been named the face of Madonna’s new clothing line.  Material Girl is a collaboration between Madonna and her 13 year old daughter Lourdes.  The Gossip Girl has just enough edge to get the approval of the original material girl. 

It is a collection of girly and edgy pieces that most teen girls will gravitate towards once it is launched on August 3rd.  Having Momsen front the brand was really a great marketing move because of the popularity of her show.  Her character Jenny is the cool girl that everyone in school wants to emulate.  The odds are good the same will happen with this clothing line when it arrives at Macy’s.

Madonna opens up about the new clothing line she designs with her 13 year old daughter Lourdes, or Lola as she’s called by her mother.  The junior line, Material Girl, will be sold exclusively at Macy’s.  The superstar responds to many of the questions we wanted answered regarding her new venture.  She also opens up about her daughter, and we get a great insight into their mother-daughter relationship.  Material Girl debuts in stores on August 3rd.

Madonna has a new clothing line called Material Girl.  The singer teamed up with her 13 year old daughter Lourdes for the junior line.  When you think Madonna and apparel, one usually thinks of the cone-shaped bustier she wore on tour.  It’s safe to say that Lourdes will keep this line a little tamer.

It is a full line of clothing, footwear, jewelry and bags.  Teen girls will be lining up for these pieces when they hit stores on August 3rd.  Macy’s will sell the collection exclusively so they should prepare for the foot traffic.  You can expect a mixture of the hard and soft, ”like a tutu dress and studded-combat boots, or an oversized boyfriend sweatshirt with a floral print mini skirt,” says the company. 

The price-point ranges from $12 to $40.  Trust the material girl herself to time the debut to coincide with the beginning of the school year.  She apparently has marketing in her blood.

Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen are taking their label, The Row, to New York Fashion Week.  The high-end clothing line will make its fashion week debut in February.  These two are usually veterans of the front row.  They’re usually surrounded by photographers vying for a shot, and next month will be much of the same.  The Olsen’s have one of the most successful celebrity clothing lines currently on the market.  Their first presentation will be highly anticipated.  Take a look back at The Row’s portfolio from a few seasons back, and you will get a glimpse of what’s in store next month.

Do you like Coco Rocha’ s personal style?  Well now you will have the opportunity to dress like her.  The model has joined the ranks of models who’ve come before, she is set to launch her own fashion line.  It makes sense because she would be the perfect ambassador for her own brand. Further, as a model, she is always surrounded by the finest garments and by top people in the fashion industry.  It isn’t surpising that she would get bitten by the designing bug.  She may have decided to design a collection, but has not settled on a name yet.  So you may have the chance to name her label; Ms. Coco wants you to send her name suggestions.
