Lancome’s new Color Design campaign stars Daria Werbowy, Arlenis Sosa and Elettra Wiedemann respectively.  This eye-catching ad is all about the bright hues in both the wardrobe and cosmetics.  Their eyes are made-up in intense blue, purple and green.  Photographer Mario Testino captured the ladies in a kind of  ’girl’s night out’ celebration.  Amazingly, makeup does have the ability to transform your mood from the outside and move inward.

Forbes has released its annual list of “The World’s Top Earning Models,” and Gisele Bundchen ranks number one.  Again.  The supermodel made an estimated $45 million dollars last year.  She is followed by the usual suspect, Heidi Klum at $20 million, Kate Moss a cool $13.5, Adriana Lima made $8 million and Alessandra Ambrosio rounded out the top 5 at $5 million.  Check the rest of the list below.

Gisele Bundchen and Heidi Klum top Forbes’ list of the highest paid models two years in a row.  Gisele earned $25 million and Heidi earned $16 million dollars in 2009.  There are at least six current or former Victoria’s Secret models on this list.  Is that a coincidence?  It apparently pays to be an ‘Angel’.  See the other models who made the list.

Bundchen Tops Forbes’ List of Highest Paid Models [NBC New York]

Fashion’s Night Out is shaping up to be more extravagant than anyone originally anticipated.  It was recently announced that FNO will host the largest fashion show at Lincoln Center on September 7th.  The show will have over 200 of the fiercest models to walk the runway.  That means we will likely see the original supermodels walk alongside the models of the moment.  Will we see a model walk-off?  Think Christy Turlington, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Linda Evangelista walking amongst Raquel Zimmermann, Karlie Kloss, Daria Werbowy and Chanel Iman that’s worth the price of admission.  Well 1500 guests will be privy to this model showdown, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the New York City AIDS Fund.  All the trends for fall will be represented on stage, and we’ll get to see the hottest looks from some of our favorite designers.  You can get tickets at the Lincoln Center box office this summer.
