Gisele Bundchen is the face of Versace’s Spring 2012 campaign and she shows us why she is the top earning model in the industry. She posed in a series of white studded looks from said season.

The shoot was shot poolside by photographers Mert & Marcus. I can practically feel the intensity of the sun from these images, even in New York City’s current frigid temperatures. Her skin was golden bronzed and in keeping with her supermodel status, she was so impossibly fit, she sizzled.

Gisele Bundchen really worked this metallic Oscar de la Renta gown at the AFI Achievement Awards.  Her dress had sphagetti straps, a V-neckline and a faux wrap bodice.  The fit was perfect all the way down to the sweeping train.  Pewter sequins were paired with a fuchsia belt to much success.  It was simultaneously sexy and sweet.  She matched her clutch to the metal in her attire.  A deceptively simple ponytail and neutral makeup finished-off her look.

Forbes has released its annual list of “The World’s Top Earning Models,” and Gisele Bundchen ranks number one.  Again.  The supermodel made an estimated $45 million dollars last year.  She is followed by the usual suspect, Heidi Klum at $20 million, Kate Moss a cool $13.5, Adriana Lima made $8 million and Alessandra Ambrosio rounded out the top 5 at $5 million.  Check the rest of the list below.

The late Alexander McQueen was honored at the 2011 Costume Institute’s Met Gala last night.  Model Bundchen attended in one of his designs.  She wore a strapless red gown that commanded your attention.  All the drama was relegated to the pleated hemline that expanded in volume as it got to the floor.

Gisele Bundchen covers Elle Brazil for May 2011, and her mile-long legs are front and center.  The image is very ’60′s with the almost unrecognizable supermodel.  She sports big hair, a neutral face and a straight on gaze into the camera.  Photographer Nino Munoz lensed the shoot for this issue.

Gisele Bundchen’s posed in a scenic location for her Vogue France editorial for April 2011.  She hikes the rugged terrains and hitchhikes to her destination.  Her wardrobe is casual and chic, with heavy emphasis on texture, namely crochet and knits.  The looks are romantic and easy.  Inez & Vinoodh captured these images of Gisele backpacking

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen covers Emmanuelle Alt’s first Vogue Paris issue.  She is dressed in a white Dolce & Gabbana dress from the Spring 2011 collection.  There are some angelic and provocative qualities about this shot.  First, the natural lighting and the color white gives off a virginal vibe.  Then there is the transluceny of the dress showing Gisele’s undergarments and both her pose and facial expression are sensual.  The duality was captured perfectly by photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin for the April 2011 cover.

Gisele Bundchen covers the March 2011 issue of Vogue Turkey.  She wore a one piece jumpsuit with a plunging neckline.  The supermodel accessorized with a gold choker – a fabulous statement piece, two gold cuffs and a red belt.  Gisele’s hair was a mass of waves, kept off of her expertly made-up face.   Her red pout was the perfect complement to her look, and the warm red background.  Photographers Mert & Marcus shot the smoking hot cover. 

Balenciaga released the first images of its Spring 2011 ad campaign starring Gisele Bundchen.  We get to see the supermodel in a less glamorous, but equally interesting light.  This ad is playful and it highlights her personality, it also showcases her versatility.  Her phenomenal beauty was played-down, and the clothes took center-stage.  The campaign was shot by photographer Steven Meisel and it was a great collaboration.  They stretched beyond the expected and gave us something to talk about.

Gisele Bundchen covers the December 2010 issue of Vogue Italia.  The cover shot captured her stunning cheekbones and shimmering eyes in a black-in-white image.  I loved the wet look of her hair, as if it was left to be air-dried; this along with her neutral lip color gave the photo a very natural look.  It’s a great head-shot of the model by fashion photographer Steven Meisel whose lighting was exceptional.  Inside Gisele’s editorial previewed Spring 2011 looks.
