Jessica Alba got into the holiday spirit in a glimmering Carolina Herrera frock to the tree lighting ceremony in Beverly Hills. The actress wore a winter-white dress with a fitted bodice and a full skirt. It had lustrous beadwork on top, while the lower half had a beautiful quilt-like pattern. She accompanied her outfit with a pair of Barbara Bui printed, platform pumps. Her Swarovski necklace and clutch dazzled brightly against her attire. The makeup was neutral, and her hair was styled in a textured up-do.

Jessica Alba was host to Lucky magazine and ThisNext event in a Dolce & Gabbana leopard print gown.  The mother-to-be was radiant in a scoop neck dress with ruffled cap sleeves.  The color matched her brown hair with warm highlights.  A set of gold bracelets and earrings completed her wardrobe for the evening.  I would have loved this look even more if the hemline had fallen at, or just above the knee. Even so, she was gorgeous and her skin glowed beautifully.

Jessica Alba was radiant in a color block Diane von Furstenberg dress at the 2011 CFDA Awards last night.  It was a floor length gown with orange in the bodice and fuchsia in the long skirt.  The wrap style with a deep V-neckline, and empire waist looked lovely on the expectant mom.  She wore a golden cuff on each hand, a pair of drop-down earrings and a miniature clutch.  Her sleek hair and bold lips completed her look for the evening.

Jessica Alba looked absolutely regal in Atelier Versace at the 2011 British Academy of Films and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards.  The strapless gown was in a beautiful Caribbean blue with expert draping in the bodice.  It’s skirt falls into a pool of blue silk tulle with delicate pleat-like elements.  Her hair was styled with two braids that contributed to her majestic presence on the red carpet; they took on the appearance of a tiara.  Jessica’s necklace turquoise and blue statement necklace had a similar shape and pattern as her braids.  Bold red lips took this look from pretty princess to Hollywood starlet.

Jessica Alba kept it retro-chic in her embellished one-shoulder Gucci dress at the Gucci Rue Royale party.  It worked on so many levels, from the dazzling bead-work down to the fabulous fit and silhouette.  The marks of quality are style factor, wearability and timelessness, and this dress qualifies on all counts.  Sleek hair and classically beautiful makeup merged well with this metallic vintaged look. Her champagne peeped toe heels and embellished evening bag were the perfect finish to this red carpet stunner.

Jessica Alba kept it sweet and pretty in this Valentino confection at the New York premiere of the Little Fockers last night.  Her multi-tiered feathered mini-dress was reminiscent of beautiful snowflakes on a cool winter’s day.  This gave new meaning to winter white.  Jessica accessorized with strappy metallic gold Christian Louboutin sandals and gold clutch.  She was rocking her new short and sassy hair-cut that fell right at the tip of her shoulders.  Her makeup was glowing and classic on her beautifully bronzed skin.  You can meet the Little Fockers when it hits theaters on December 22nd.

The stars came out for the CNN Heroes: An All Star Tribute event over the weekend in Los Angeles.  They were honoring those who make a difference around the world.  Jessica Alba wore a lady-like Rachel Comey dress with a pair of nude colored Christian Louboutin pumps.  Her look was simply pretty with a statement necklace and a beaded evening bag.  Demi Moorewas in a navy blue Marios Schwab dress,  it had a high neckline that was embellished with beautiful beading.  She accessorized with a pair of navy Casadei shoes that had gorgeous lace.  The sexy, yet elegant look is always a on-trend on and off the red carpet.  Renee Zellweger opted for a hot pink Carolina Herrera one-shoulder cocktail dress, a go-to designer for the actress.  A pair of metallic heels and a single cocktail ring on her index finger completed her look for the evening.  I loved the softness of her makeup, it was classic and neutral.  You can see the CNN television  special on Thanksgiving.

Jessica Alba is the cover of Elle magazine’s December 2010 issue.  The actress is pretty in pink wearing a gorgeous retro look from Christian Dior’s Resort 2011 collection.  Elle opted for a springtime cover for the winter Holiday season.  It was either crazy or genius to go for a warm weather look; though I suspect many are already craving a vacation in the Caribbean at this juncture.  The orange and pink YSL two-piece is one of my favorites from the photo spread.  Her shoot was feminine and pretty- girly pieces, soft makeup and tousled hair; the perfect beginnings for fun in the sun.

Jessica Alba switch it up once again and opted for a more fashion forward Valentino haute couture gown at the Venice Film Festival last night.   Her dress was short in front to show off her legs, as it lengthened in the back with cascading waves of lace that tumbled to the floor.  It was strapless with ornate embellishments, but also kept an edgy vibe.  She paired it with black lace up Ferragamo sandals to counteract the delicacy of the lace.  The look reminded me of her days on the television drama Dark Angel; sweet, yet dangerous.    Alba gave us the ‘little black dress’ that had a big personality; it had enough attitude and drama for on-and-off the red carpet.
