Roberto Cavalli Spring 2012 Ad Campaign – Naomi Campbell, Karen Elson, Kristen McMenamy & Daphne Groeneveld

Roberto Cavalli brought out the big names for his Spring 2012 campaign. Naomi Campbell, Karen Elson, Kristin McMenamy and Daphne Groeneveld gave life to the collection with continuous movement; even their tresses got in on the action. Photographer Steven Meisel was called in to shoot the fabulous four.

They posed in sparkling sequins, sheer lace and colorful prints for the ads. These models still have the right moves to capture our imaginations.

The neutral makeup palettes won me over because they contrasted nicely with the vivid pieces. I loved the pin straight hair which was beautiful against all the texture and patterns in the looks.

Louis Vuitton Goes for Natalia, Karen and Christy for its Fall 2010 Ad

Marc Jacobs scored big when he assembled models Christy Turlington, Karen Elson and Natalia Vodianova for Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2010 ad campaign.  The ladies look lovely as they groom themselves in a dressing room full of make-up mirrors with lights.  That lighting is usually a recipe for bad make-up application, but not here.  In addition to mirrors, there are plenty of Vuitton shoes and bags scattered throughout the room.  Let’s not forget that the models are perfectly dressed in the fall 2010 collection.  Steven Meisel captured the updated 1950′s vibe that Jacobs delivered in his collection.

St. John Fall 2010 Ad: Karen Elson

Images via The Fashion Spot

Angelina Jolie may have overshadowed St. John’s campaigns, but they have struck the right note with model Karen Elson.  The model is a natural in the label’s Fall 2010 ad campaign.  She manages to bring the collection to life, that’s the mark of a professional model.  That and great styling gives the collection a luxurious and daring quality.  St. John can put this ad in the win column; it’s enough to have you longing for fall at the beginning of summer.
