Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks is the new spokesperson for London Fog.  We usually associate the actress with gorgeous dresses that are flattering to her figure, and I envision that Hendricks will do wonders for trench coats.  She appears in the labels Fall 2010 ad campaign shot by photographer Nino Munoz.  Former leading ladies at London Fog includes Gisele Bundchen and Eva Longoria.  The ads are quite alluring and surprisingly high-fashion.  It’s safe to say that the company will definitely see an increase in sales, sooner than later.

Mad Men brings us drama and excitement every Sunday evening, and now the show is adding philanthropy to its line-up.  They are holding an online charity auction to raise funds for the Lung Cancer Center at California’s City of Hope.  We are all enthralled by the 1960′s era drama, especially the wardrobe. The ladies are so elegantly dressed, and that may bring about a bit of style envy.  Fortunately, the clothes are included in the auction.  Maybe you want to dress like a siren like Joan, a sophisticate like Betty or a conservative like Peggy.  You can bid on clothing worn by these characters, and it goes to a worthy cause.  If the wardrobe is not your thing, items from the fictional advertising agency is also available.  Those items would be office furniture and other knickknacks.  Now we can all get our hands on the enviable wardrobe and the cool props, and it’s only a click away.

Mad Men Auction [Vogue UK]

January Jones and Elisabeth Moss were front and center at the premiere of Mad Men in New York City last night.  Jones wore a super sexy white Versace dress with beading.  Moss was also sparkling in a nude color dress accented with glistening beading.  You would never see this much skin on either of their characters, Betty Draper or Peggy Olsen, and I’m loving it.  They made the event glamorous and stylish for their dedicated fans.  The premiere was watched on a wide screen in Times Square among 10,000 of their closest fans.  At the end of the day, maybe it’s about public relations instead of advertising.

Christina Hendricks and Elisabeth Moss are just two of the actresses who walked the red carpet for the Season 4 premiere of Mad Men in L.A.  Elisabeth was elegant in an emerald one-shoulder Oscar de la Renta dress.  It had a frontal ruffle that extended to the full length of the dress and a single cap sleeve.  Christina wore a sexy high-neck, black lace mini from Dolce and Gabbana.  Her dress was feminine from the lace down to the figure flattering silhouette.  Mad Men returns on Sunday, July 25th on AMC where we’ll all be transported back to the advertising world during the 1960′s.  If we could return to the present day with one thing, I would vote for their incredible sense of style.
