Emma Watson covers the July 2011 issue of Vogue in Prada, it’s from the Fall 2011 collection. It had large scaled sequins in an apricot color in the bodice and a wine hue in the skirt. The actress looks very dramatic in this shot, bold berry lips were dramatic and they balanced her strong brows. Her hair was sleek and styled all back. Inside her editorial took on a metallic theme in both silver and gold. A bronze meshed top with embroidery on the sleeves, and a textured multi-colored miniskirt was a Tom Ford design.

The royal couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton, have taken their official wedding portrait. The bride-to-be wore an ivory white Reiss dress, the Nannette, a similar one will be back in stores at the end of January 2011. It has three-quarter length sleeves and a flattering neckline; very feminine and formal. Her dress goes beautifully with that dazzling blue sapphire and diamond engagement ring. Famed fashion photographer Mario Testino shot the royal portrait inside of St. James Palace in London.

Anne Hathaway covers Vogue magazine for the November 2010 issue. She is radiant in a burgundy colored Oscar de la Renta ballgown. The cover was shot by Mario Testino who captured the essence of the movie star. Hathaway is regal in this voluminous strapless beauty. She has the ability to draw you in with an almost shy smile and an easy elegance. Her movie Love & Other Drugs with Jake Gyllenhaal opens November 24th, and we’re sure it will be a must see. Burberry Debuts Beauty Line
Burberry has a new 96-piece beauty collection ready to debut in July. Though legendary for its trench coats, this is the fashion house’s first foray into makeup. Chief creative officer Christopher Bailey compares the new line to Burberry’s trench coats. If that’s the case, we should expect timeless and enduring beauty from this collection. Burberry’s Fall 2010 ad stars model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Whiteley is also the new female lead in the Transformers franchise, she replaced Megan Fox. The campaign was shot by fashion photographer Mario Testino whose job was to capture the “energy of [the models] jumping out of the page,” says Burberry’s chief creative officer, Christopher Bailey. Viewers now have the ability to control how they view the campaign images, they can now zoom in on specific areas. Bailey explains that they want people to have an experience when viewing these 3-D images. “I want anyone who sees the campaign not just to see images, but to feel a part of what we have created; connecting people through technology, music, the collections, the attitude, and the emotion captured.”

Marion Cotillard is on the cover of U.S. Vogue’s July 2010 issue. The French actress is both glamorous and regal in her purple Dior dress. Fashion photographer Mario Testino shot the cover in the South of France, and the purple dress is reminiscent of the bold burgundy wines from that region. Cotillard talks movies and her character inspirations in the magazine interview. She also credits her Oscar-winning performance in La Vie en Rose with opening many doors and creating great career opportunities.
Daphne Guinness Now Owns Isabella Blow’s Collection
Daphne Guinness is the proud owner of the late Isabella Blow’s collection. The legendary fashion stylist had a wardrobe consisting of 50 Philip Treacy hats, a few John Galliano dresses and several pieces by her dear friend Alexander McQueen. In total, Daphne Guinness has acquired a 90 piece collection that is worthy of display in a museum. She intercepted a planned Christie’s auction scheduled for September to sell off Blow’s wardrobe and photographs. Photographs by Steven Meisel, Mario Testino and Karl Lagerfeld are also among her new acquisitions. “It’s Issy – it’s her D.N.A., it should not be scattered to the four winds. Like any artist, it should not be dispersed, but remain as a monument with people having access to it,” says Guinness.
