Natalie Portman is pretty and poised on the February 2011 cover of InStyle magazine.  The actress wore a red dress from Marc Jacobs Spring 2011 collection.  It’s a great color for both Natalie and the magazine’s layout.  Her curls caressed her face, and her skin was radiant with natural looking makeup.  She talks relationships, Black Swan and the soon to be released, No Strings Attached inside.   This issue hits newsstands on Friday, January 14th.

Leighton Meester is sitting pretty in her new Missoni ad campaign for Spring 2011.  The actress donned a mini-dress in a signature Missoni print, and she accessorized with a statement necklace and bracelets.  Leighton poses on a carousel horse, so luckily she won’t be riding off into the sunset anytime soon; there is more Gossip Girl to be filmed. 

Michael Kor’s Spring 2011 ad campaign is sexy with neutral colors and beautiful clean lines; the white and camel colors were perfectly suited for the models’ tanned skins.  The ad is sporty and active, and fittingly set on the high seas.  Photographer Mario Testino captured this enticing lifestyle on film. 

Drew Barrymore scored major points in this strapless Jil Sander dress at the Covergirl 50th Anniversary event.  We are often starved for vibrant color in the winter months, so a pop of color can be nourishing to our style sensibilities.  This tangerine beauty has a loose fit and perfect proportions.  It’s clean and modern, and the mermaid hemline sealed the deal.  Her hair kept with the theme of the dress, straight and sleek.  Drew kept it simple with her accessories as well, a black evening bag and a cocktail ring.  The bright lip and nail colors finished-off her flawless look. 

Crystal Renn strikes a series of sexy poses for Jimmy Choo’s Spring 2011 ad campaign.  The model showcases colorful accessories that come in delectable flavors like lemon, cherry and strawberry.  Spring is about bright and cheerful hues, and these ads give us the promise that warm weather is just around the corner.  Visions of platformed sandals are already dancing in our heads.

Kate  Moss is in front of the cameras once again, this time for Balmain’s Spring 2011 ad campaign.  Here is a video of the behind the scenes photo shoot captured by photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.  The film footage were captured by a surveillance-styled camera which lended an artistic quality to the end product.  Kate’s movements were recorded and animated graphics were edited into this black and white mini film project,

Joan Smalls stars in Gucci’s ad campaign for Spring 2011.  The model strikes her poses under the brilliant sun in carefully crafted pieces from the luxury brand’s collection.  These ads were all about perfect angles formed by the arms and legs, a beautiful imagery of clean lines.  Those lines were a nice contrast with the details that went into the designs for the season. 

Steven Meisel shot Christian Dior’s Spring 2011 ad campaign starring Karlie Kloss.  Vivid colors, beautiful prints and wonderful textures would accurately sum up these images.  Even the background fabric continues the color and texture of the theme.  There is a softness to her face that is contrasted with those bold red lips and the glamorous curls in her hair.  The tree branch adds an earthy element to the high-end pieces.

Dallas Bryce Howard has been tapped to star in the Spring 2011 Kate Spade ad campaign. The actress has been a loyal follower of the brand for years, so the collaboration was a good fit. She is surrounded by vibrant colors and styled with bright accessories fresh from the spring collection.
