Cameron Diaz in Valentino at Couture Fashion Show
Cameron Diaz was the picture of elegance in a polka dot Christian Dior design during their haute couture show in Paris. The actress selected a black-and-white print with a sophisticated flare that fell just above her knee.
It had a boat neckline, fitted bodice and full skirt. She accessorized the dress with a leather belt and a pair of unexpected strappy sandals. I loved her in this look because it was simultaneously ladylike and playful.
Her hair was styled in an up-do with volume on top. The make-up was in a peachy-pink palette that worked well with her blue eyes.

Rooney Mara in Valentino at Rome Premiere
Rooney Mara opted for a crimson Valentino design at the Rome premiere of “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.” The actress selected a refreshingly vivid color in contrast to her neutral hues.
It was in a sheer lace gown with multiple tiers and a floor sweeping hem. This dress was feminine and ladylike with its special details, like scalloped edges in the upper bodice, translucent sleeves and princess silhouette.
Her hair and makeup were flawless. I liked the signature updo with blunt bangs and the lip color that matched her gown.
She gets point for wearing scarlet instead of black to this event, but I am still trying to figure out her style. Is it soft and elegant or bold and dramatic? Either way, I enjoy watching her red carpet evolution.

Jessica Biel attended the Valentino runway show in Paris wearing the label’s design. The actress opted for a monochromatic lilac dress and coat. Her frock had pretty draping in the waist, a scoop neckline and long sleeves. She paired her look with seafoam green mules and an envelope bag. I loved the softness of the colors, it appears pastels do have a place in an Autumn wardrobe. Her hair was styled to appear void of products, and it was beautiful. The makeup followed with a neutral palette that was natural and pretty.
Valentino – RTW Spring 2012

Valentino brought the red carpet to the runways of Paris for Spring 2012. Each piece was more beautiful than the next. The dresses were gorgeous, and rich in feminine details. Black and white looks opened the show, but we were soon treated to salmon, baby blue, black and pink. Leather added a rocking edge to those pretty confections. Their signature red made its appearance throughout, but it was the lace gown with cap sleeves that caught my eye. This was a parade of beauty in lady-like silhouettes.
