Thandie Newton brought color and drama in Monique Lhuillier to the 2011 British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards.  Her gown was a gradation of various pinks, from fuchsia to soft pink.  It was in a sophisticated floral print with sculpted draping.  The dress was strapless and fitted in the bodice, and the skirt increased in volume as it fell to the floor.  She accessorized with a simple necklace and an elegant up-do.  Thandie’s face was beautiful and neutral, but I would have loved a bold lip color to complement the gown.
